Join us for a fun hour of nature discovery at Bellevue’s beautiful Lewis Creek Park, 5808 Lakemont Blvd SE, Bellevue. To register, email info@naturevision.org or call 425-836-2697. SUSTAINABILITY MONTH February is Sustainability Month at Lewis Creek Park – a time to understand how nature works and think about how we can live sustainably and protect our wonderful watershed. So to celebrate, we are offering 2 sustainability hours, each covering a different sustainability topic.
Water Ways February 27th, 11:00 – 12:00 Do you know where your water comes from and where it goes? Come learn the path that water takes from nature to our human-built environment and back again. We will also learn how we can be good caretakers of our water so it keeps flowing clean and plentiful. Take home a water cycle in a cup project, that includes a real plant. Ages 6Y and up. Program Cost: $10 per person.	Call of the Wild March 13th, 11:00 – 12:00 Screeeech! Barump! Whoosh! And Owwww! Come join us to learn about how animals communicate with each other. Participate in a “smell mail” activity and look for coyote trail markers in the woods. Ages 8Y and up. Program Cost: $10 per person.
Solar System March 27th, 11:00 – 12:00 We spend a lot of time at Lewis Creek looking down at the land! But this time we will turn our learning outward to the stars! Come explore our solar system, understand how big it really is, and take home a “tape measure” of our planets. Ages 8Y and up. Program Cost: $10 per person.	Geology Rocks April 10th- 11:00 – 12:00 Do you know that Planet Earth recycles EVERYTHING?! Come find out more about the Rock Cycle, and play a game that shows how it works. You may take on the role of a volcano, magma, or the core of the Earth. Ages 8Y and up. Program Cost: $10 per person.
Food Web April 24th 11:00 – 12:00 Did you know that you are connected to every other living thing on the planet through the FOOD WEB? Come find out how and discover how life keeps going. Take home a food web card game that we will make. Ages 8Y and up. Program Cost: $10 per person.	Please note: During all Family Discovery Series programs, children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
